Each year, MOPA presents a juried exhibition showcasing the creative photographic talents of youth artists. Curricula + Resources

MOPA is dedicated to helping you incorporate photography into your existing classroom curriculum. We offer free curricula resources for current exhibitions, educational plans and suggested activities. Film Screenings for Title I Schools

The San Diego International Film Festival and MoPA present free outreach screenings for Title I schools. Students will view a collection of animated and live-action short films made for children from countries around the world. Films are appropriate for all ages.

Tours for School Groups

Enjoy a free gallery tour for your school group. Tours are available 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Sunday, except holidays and the second Tuesday of every month. Two-weeks advanced notice required. One chaperone per every 15 children (age 18 and under) is required. Learn more.

MOPA's Dubois Library

The Edmund L. and Nancy K. Dubois Library holds more than 20,000 items, all related to photography. Everything from monographs to magazines and encyclopedias to exhibition catalogs, the Dubois Library is a unique collection of resources available for use. Come in and peruse the latest photography monographs and journals while enjoying the serene reading room. Library staff is available to assist with research needs and information requests. Read more.
