ANIMALS AMONG US: 11th Annual Youth Exhibition

8 October, 2016 - 5 February, 2017

Students in grades K-12 across San Diego County and Tijuana were invited this year to enter artwork into MOPA’s 11th Annual Juried Youth Exhibition. In celebration of the San Diego Zoo’s Centennial, the 2016 exhibition asked the students to consider the significance of animals in their lives and in the world.

The 2016 Youth Exhibition received the largest number of submissions in MOPA’s history! 470 students submitted photographic artworks and 105 were selected to be displayed at MOPA, the Central Library, and the Logan Heights Library.

Thank you to all the teachers and schools who bring art into the classroom and congratulations to the student artists selected to be part of MOPA’s 11th Annual Youth Exhibition, Animals Among Us!
