Undergraduate and graduate level students gain experience and exposure to a professional museum work environment through MoPA’s Internship Program. Internship positions vary but are usually available in a variety of departments including Curatorial, Development, Education, Exhibitions/Design, Library, Public Relations/Marketing, and Retail/Visitor Services. While at MoPA, interns will participate in activities conducive to their academic and professional growth. MoPA also provides internship opportunities for qualified high school students. Internships are unpaid, but academic credit can be arranged. Internships are available during the academic year as well as the summer. Interns are admitted throughout the year on an as-needed basis and applications are accepted and processed on a first come basis. Work hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules, however interns are required to work a minimum of 10 hours a week. Complete and submit the posted application form, a résumé, and a 500 word personal statement. Applicants who submit a complete application with all required materials and who meet the minimum requirements will be considered for the available positions.
