INTERN
PROGRAM
The
Museum of Photographic Arts Internship Program is available
to undergraduate and graduate level students and is designed
to provide experience and exposure to professional work in
a museum. Under the supervision of a department head and key
staff members, interns will participate in activities conducive
to their academic and professional growth.
Internships
are unpaid, but academic credit can be arranged.
Both
academic year and summer internships are available. Interns
are admitted throughout the year on an as-needed basis and
applications are accepted and processed on a first come basis.
Work hours are flexible to accommodate class schedules, however
interns are required to work a minimum of 10 hours a week.
Internship
positions vary but are usually are available in a variety
of departments including Curatorial, Development, Education,
Exhibitions, Library, and Public Relations
Available Internships & Applications:
Fall
Term (September-December): Fall 2008 application will be available
in late Spring
Spring Term (January-May): Spring 2008 application will be
available in late Fall
Summer Term (June-August): : Currently accepting applications,

Internship Application Procedure:
To
apply, please download the available internship list and application
form. Complete and submit the posted application form, a résumé,
and a 500 word personal statement.
Applicants
who submit a complete application with all required materials
and who meet the minimum requirements will be considered for
the available positions.
