Incorporate Video Into Your Curriculum
Many of the skills used in movie-making translate into aspects of curriculum standards as well as into practical terms. Educators can build on these concepts to help develop students’ communication skills, both through visual and verbal language. This 1-hour workshop will address how movie-making can assist students in realizing the power of words and moving images when presented together, and how elements of composition, motion, sound, and music culminate to effectively communicate ideas. Scheduled workshops at the museum have been set up for individual enrollment, but group appointments are available at your convenience.
