Advanced tickets required. $6 MOPA Members, $10 General.

Join MOPA for an enchanted evening of modern myths, folklore and tall tales produced in collaboration with San Diego-based performance art organization, So Say We All. Inspired by their popular VAMP series (Visual Art, Music, Performance), So Say We All has custom-curated performances about real life stories that intersect surreal,
magical and otherworldly experiences. The evening also features two short films.

Glory at Sea (25 minutes), the award-winning 2008 short film directed by Benh Zeitlin, follows a group of survivors in an apocalyptic Southern Louisiana landscape as they search for their departed loved ones under the sea. Pioneer (16 minutes), an official selection of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Lowery, is about a father who tells his little boy the most epic bedtime story ever.

From 7:00 - 8:30 pm, enjoy jams by Ill Spectre and craft cocktails by the master mixologists of Alchemy Restaurant.  Explore the galleries, featuring:
  • Unusual Suspects: Paintings and Photographs by Holly Roberts, On View: FEB 4 - MAY 6
  • Eyes of a Nation: A Century of American Photography, On View: FEB 11 - MAY 13
